Katrina graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2003 with honours. She elected to complete her intern year in Ballarat developing surgical skills and close ties with the medical and broader community. Katrina continued her ongoing medical education completing a Diploma in Women’s Health and gaining overseas experience in Ireland. She returned to Melbourne in 2007 and commenced her specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at the Mercy Hospital for Women. In 2012 she completed her advanced training in laparoscopic surgery with Russell and Michael at OGB.
In 2018 Katrina expanded her studies in fertility and IVF, obtaining a masters degree in Reproductive Medicine through the University of NSW, graduating with excellence. She practices as a specialist Gynaecologist with a focus on infertility, endometriosis, menstrual irregularities and laparoscopic surgery.
Katrina enjoys caring for patients of all ages and maintains hospital appointments at St John of God Ballarat and Ballarat Day Procedure Centre, East Grampians Health Service (Ararat) and Maryborough.
Katrina lives in Ballarat with her family and enjoys propagating plants, gardening and hiking.
